Subject: Happy New Year!
Hello everyone and HAPPY NEW YEAR! CAn you believe it is 2014? crazy. well this past week wasn’t super eventful, but it has been good. one thing that was awesome was when i went on exchange with an elder named Elder Martin. He has only been out for about a month, so it was pretty cool to be able to give advice, even though i don’t feel like i have even been out a month. as i was talking to him though, i realized how much i actually have learned and how much i have grown since the beginning of my mission. it is crazy how much i have learned about the gospel, and how much i have come to appreciate it. I was in his area with him, and as i met some of his investigators, and was able to teach them, we had amazing lessons. Elder Martin said that those were some of the most spiritual lessons he has had so far, and at the end of the day as we were going in, he gave me a hug and said that it was the best day he had on his mission so far. it was a very cool experience, and honestly a fantastic day. we saw so many miracles together, and i was really able to see how the gospel can change lives, and how powerful the book of mormon truly is. i love everything about this gospel, it makes me so happy. I am still loving Llanelli. Wales is amazing, and i really love the people and the ward. It is some of the most beautiful countryside i have ever seen in my life. well, i don’t have a lot more to say, but i love all of you and thank you for your support, have another great week!
Love, Elder DeBeikes
