Subject: Zone Conference (Week 17)
hello everyone! another week, wow. this past week was absolutely amazing, for multiple reasons. first of all, we had zone conference at the chapel at the mission home. Elder Timothy Dyches was there from the quorum of the seventy. he spoke in this past general conference. he spoke to us about how to be great teachers. it was really amazing. he and his wife were so spiritual, and it was really inspiring to learn from them. it was definitely an experience i will never forget. another reason that it was great is that we found so many new people to teach, and we are teaching so much lately. Luke, the 19 year old Romanian, is making great progress. he came to church again, and he loved it. we taught him twice last week, and are teaching him again this week. i am very excited for his future. it is so great to see how the church is making a difference in his life. Elder Harris and i have been working really hard, and having a lot of fun while doing it. i love being companions with him. we are always so tired, but we are always happy. time has been absolutely flying by since i have been with him. i also got to go on an exchange with our zone leaders this week, and i got to go around in a car. holy smokes, i can’t imagine what it would be like to always have a car, that would be so nice. but it’s okay, i would probably get way too fat. but i also learned a lot from him. his name is Elder Chardon, from Holland. he is so cool, and is a really good missionary. we had a lot of fun together. then on saturday we played football again. “football”. but it was actually really fun. you would be amazed at how much i have improved in these past few months. by the time i get home i will be a pro. church was amazing as usual. i love church. so yeah, this past week was a really great one. i am loving life and loving what i am doing. i love this church, and i love the gospel and the blessings and joy that it brings to my life. i hope you all have a great week!
