Subject: Transfer Week

Alright, so this past week was pretty average. we didn’t get a whole lot of teaching done, and it has been pretty hard to find more people to teach. this week should be pretty exciting though. we find out tonight if we are getting transferred or not. Elder Hess is most likely moving to a new area seeing as though coventry is his first area and he has been here for 7 months. it is so crazy that i am finished with training, and that i will most likely be getting a new companion on wednesday. it has been an excellent experience over the past three months. i have learned so much and i am so thankful for all of the great experiences i have had. i am excited to get a new companion and change things up a bit, and learn even more new things from a different perspective. so one thing that happened this past week was jean texting us telling us that she wouldnt be joining the church and that she didnt want to meet with us anymore. the next day, we stopped by, and she invited us in. we were able to answer her concerns and teach her the plan of salvation, and she agreed to come to church the next day…but she didnt show up. she wont respond to our calls, and we aren’t sure what is going on. it is disappointing to say the least, but everybody has their agency. we definitely are not going to give up on her, and i am sure that things will turn out okay. but experiences like this make me truly thankful for the gospel in my life. when i see people that are struggling and won’t accept the gospel, it makes me grateful that when i am struggling i can always turn to the gospel for help. well, there isn’t a whole lot more to say, but i am still enjoying life and loving my misison. i love being here in England, it is pouring rain at the moment, it is pretty cool. i love sharing the gospel with people, and i love learning more about it every single day. I hope you all have a great week!
